Solution #1 :


Step 1 : click on "Color Picker Tool"

gimp click on color picker tool

Step 2 : enable checkbox "Use Info Window

gimp enable use info window dialog

Step 3 : click on any image area 

gimp click on image area

Step 4 : copy hex color value from Info Window dialog 

gimp copy hex color value from info window dialog

Solution #2:

Step 1 : click on  "foreground color" OR "background color
to open "Color Selection Dialog"

gimp click on active foreground color


Step 2 : click on "eyedropper", than click on image area 

gimp click on eyedropper than on image


Step 3 : copy hex color from "HTML notation" field

gimp copy html notation color hex color value
