Moodle 3.1.1 force users to login - tutorial

By default settings NOT logged in users see Moodle frontpage with course list.
This simple tutorial solve this problem.

1.  Login into Moodle 3.1.1+ as system administrator

2. Click "Site administration" in  ADMINISTRATION block

3. In "Site administration" tree
 1) click "Security"
 2) click "Site policies"

4.  Enable checkbox "Force users to log in" on Site policies page
You will see following text in field description:
Normally, the front page of the site and the course listings (but not courses) can be read by people without logging in to the site. If you want to force people to log in before they do ANYTHING on the site, then you should enable this setting.

- scroll down
- click "Save changes" button

5. Test new settings:

- log out
- goto your  Moodle home page 
e.g. for http://localhost/moodle

You should see login page
